Quebec Skilled Worker Immigration – Express Entry Program

Following an agreement between Canada and Quebec, the province of Quebec has its own immigration criteria to determine which immigrants are eligible to live Quebec.
In order to immigrate to Quebec as a skilled worker, a person must first go through a selection process administered by the Quebec government. If the application is approved, (s)he obtains a Quebec Selection Certificate. Once this process is approved, the application is confirmed by Citizenship and Immigration Canada.
In order to qualify for the Quebec Selection Certificate, the applicant must score enough points on the Quebec Immigration selection test.
If you are currently in Quebec as a temporary foreign worker, or are a student who has graduated from a Quebec college or university, with knowledge of Quebec society and its economy, you may qualify to become a permanent resident of Quebec.
This program is aimed at you if you have obtained an eligible Québec diploma, or you are in the process of doing so, and you have a working knowledge of oral French.
This program is aimed at you if you have held a skilled job in Québec for at least 12 months and you have a working knowledge of oral French.
